Bowled over: Nottinghamshire cricket The world’s third oldest test cricket ground, Trent Bridge is home to Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. This famous cricketing landmark ground is also one of only six venues in England where test matches are staged. Players and spectators have made this one of the best-loved cricket grounds in England and its architecture has been kept within the parameters set by the 1886 pavilion. With a 15,000 capacity, the prestigious venue has hosted over 1,400 first-class matches in its history.
