Robin Hood Airport is an exciting new airport located just a few miles away from the North of Nottinghamshire border and within easy reach of the county. Flights in and out of Robin Hood Airport cover 30 destinations in 20 countries and with a runway of 2.8km long, it is the only airport outside of London to carry the new ‘airbus’ so expect long haul arrivals from 2006. The airport currently has the capacity to serve 1.3 million passengers with an aim to increase passenger traffic to 4.5 million by 2010.
