For domestic, European and international flights, Nottinghamshire is well served by a range of airports.

Surrounded by the cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and within easy reach of Sheffield and Stoke on Trent, East Midlands Airport is also easily accessible from all parts of the UK, either by road or by public transport. It offers scheduled flights with budget airlines from 26 locations, including major cities of commerce such as Amsterdam, Geneva, Brussels and Paris.

Rapidly expanding, East Midlands Airport: Nottingham, Leicester, Derby provides real time online information and was one of the first airports in the whole of Europe to offer a new integrated self-service check-in for passengers, enabling them to allocate their own seat on board and check their own bags whilst reducing the time spent queuing.

To make your journey even easier, the direct bus service, Skylink, has been improved. It now operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week providing both holiday makers and late shift workers with an alternative to the car. Departing every 30 minutes from East Midlands Airport into the heart of Nottingham city centre, Skylink takes the stress out of your journey.

Likewise, a dedicated shuttle bus, Railink, operates between East Midlands Airport and the new East Midlands Parkway station, every half hour from 7am until 11.30pm, seven days a week. For more information click on East Midlands Airport: Nottingham, Leicester, Derby
