Grand Cascade experience exclusive to Center Parcs in UK first!

The new Grand Cascade raft ride at Center Parcs’ Sherwood Forest has just opened, combining the thrill of water tubing with white water rafting - yet you don’t need to be a swimmer to take a ride, so the whole family can share the adventure.

At over 450 feet long, the ride is longer than two jumbo jets. On the Grand Cascade, four people share an inflatable tube which whirls down a roller-coaster of rapids, waterfalls and whirlpools. Set to entertain over 100,000 raft trips each year, the ride would hold over 3 million rubber ducks if filled up!

The ride has only been open two weeks but already it has received a great response from guests, making the subtropical swimming paradise even more popular.
 
Center Parcs’ development team travelled to the USA to gain inspiration for the ride, but UK visitors needn’t leave the country to experience the thrills of an all-American rafting adventure. Exclusively at Sherwood Forest resort, the ride is open daily between 11am and 7pm.
