Nottinghamshire tourist information centres Nottinghamshire has a network of tourist information centres and information points around the city and county. Some of these are manned centres selling local produce and others are unmanned visitor information points. Nottingham tourism centre If you're in the city, drop in to the Nottingham tourism centre at 1-4 Smithy Row, Nottingham NG1 2BY and talk to one of the visitor services team. The centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sundays and Bank Holidays 10am to 4pm. They'll be happy to provide information, make bookings on your behalf and you'll get the chance to browse our new improved range of merchandise. Visitors to two of Nottinghamshire’s most popular country parks can now enjoy a better experience thanks to two brand new visitor information points. Using touchscreen technology the points offer visitors information on attractions, events and accommodation around the county. Visitors will also be able to take away free guides and publications. The information point at Rufford Country Park, near Ollerton, can be found in the Craft Centre Courtyard. It opens between 10.30am - 4.30pm and a team of friendly, helpful staff are on hand to tell visitors about things to see at do at Rufford and in the rest of Nottinghamshire. Although not staffed, the point at Clumber Park, near Worksop, is packed with information so visitors will never be stuck finding things to do nearby.
